- The purpose of the Unimodem V is to allow Windows 95 to switch to the
- proper program to handle the incoming call (data/voice/fax). It
- requires a modem with a chipset it supports and the proper .inf file.
- It does not work with my sportster, but it does work with my Zoom
- Comstar 28800 IF I choose generic rockwell modem as my modem.
-
- If that is enabled, then anyone calling in gets a message telling them
- to push 1 for voice, 2 for fax, 3 for data (numbers may not be
- correct, but yoy get the idea). Operator then routes the call to the
- proper application.
-
- HOWEVER (Are you ready for this?!) The Application MUST BE RUNNING for
- Operator to switch to it!! Talk about burning up resources.
